On May 14th, the National Library of Ukraine for Children hosted a unique creative meeting with Ruslan Spirin, a Ukrainian diplomat, poet, translator, traveler, and researcher of human stories. The event brought together students and an adult audience who gathered to meet the author and participate in the first presentation of his poetry collection “Echoes of the South / Відлуння Півдня”. The book is special because it combines lyric poetry with emotional impressions drawn from the author’s many years of travel through Latin American countries. It was created in an innovative format, using artificial intelligence, which not only generated the illustrations but also helped to “bring to life” the poems in a digital musical version.
